Fishing for the apex predator of our oceans, shark fishing in the Keys is like no other place.  We chum up these awesome animals in clear shallow water to get the full experience out of your encounter.  You will usually get to see the whole process of the shark coming up the chum line to our bait.  They usually don't attack the bait right away, they are curious creatures and often take their time before they eat.  As the numbers of sharks get greater, the quicker they tend to eat the bait.  Their competitive nature comes out.  The common sharks that we encounter are Black Tips, Black Tip Spinners, Bulls, Lemons, Hammerheads, and Tiger Sharks.  The Tiger Sharks are the least common of all the others.  We have shark encounters year round.  They are usually better when the waters are warm.
